To approve as a correct record and sign the Minutes of the meeting held on 27 March 2013.

Minutes:

The Minutes (copies of which had been circulated) of the meeting held on 27 March 2013 were approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair.

(a)  To consider development applications where members of the public have attended the meeting in order to hear the committee’s deliberations.

 

(b)  To consider the remaining development applications.

The following development applications will be considered by the Committee:-

 

(i)            DC052194 – Plot 4, Hopes Carr, Stockport

 

Application to extend the time limit for implementation for an extant permission (DC043578): Plot 4 residential development comprising twenty two dwellings (use class C3) and associated car parking granted 31 March 2010.

 

(ii)          DC052195 – Plot 3, Hopes Carr, Stockport

 

Application to extend the time limit for implementation for an extant permission (DC043700): Plot 3 residential development comprising four properties (use class C3) and associated car parking granted 31 March 2010.

 

(iii)         DC052198 – Plot 5, Land at Hopes Carr, Stockport

 

Application to extend the time limit for implementation for an extant permission (DC043579): Plot 5 residential development comprising eight new dwellings and conversion of a listed building into four apartments (use class C3) and associated car parking granted 31 March 2010.

 

(iv)         DC052199 - Land at Hopes Carr, Stockport (Plot 2, Hopes Carr/Lavenders Brow and Churchgate)

 

Application to extend the time limit for implementation for an extant permission (DC043701): Plot 2 residential development comprising three properties (use class C3) and associated car parking granted 31 March 2010.

 

(v)          DC052225 - Plot 5, Land at Hopes Carr, Stockport

 

Application to extend the time limit for implementation for an extant listed building consent (DC043606): Plot 5 residential development comprising eight new dwellings and conversion of a listed building into four apartments (use class C3) and associated car parking granted 31 March 2010.

 

The Committee is recommended to grant planning permission for each of the applications detailed above.

Application to extend the time limit for implementation for an extant permission (DC043700): Plot 3 residential development comprising four properties (use class C3) and associated car parking granted 31 March 2010;

 

(iii)         DC052198 – Plot 5, Land at Hopes Carr, Stockport

 

Application to extend the time limit for implementation for an extant permission (DC043579): Plot 5 residential development comprising eight new dwellings and conversion of a listed building into four apartments (use class C3) and associated car parking granted 31 March 2010;

 

(iv)         DC052199 - Land at Hopes Carr, Stockport (Plot 2, Hopes Carr/Lavenders Brow and Churchgate)

 

Application to extend the time limit for implementation for an extant permission (DC043701): Plot 2 residential development comprising three properties (use class C3) and associated car parking granted 31 March 2010; and

 

(v)          DC052225 - Plot 5, Land at Hopes Carr, Stockport

 

Application to extend the time limit for implementation for an extant listed building consent (DC043606): Plot 5 residential development comprising eight new dwellings and conversion of a listed building into four apartments (use class C3) and associated car parking granted 31 March 2010;

 

a representative of a local business spoke against plan no. 52195 – Plot 3, Hopes Carr, Stockport.

 

It was then

 

RESOLVED – (1) That the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration be authorised to determine the applications, subject to a new time limit and pending completion of a Deed of Variation to the Unilateral Undertaking under a Section 106 Agreement to allow for the provision and maintenance of recereation and amenity open space and highway contributions in respect of improvements to the Waterloo Road/Spring Gardens/Churchgate junction, new Traffic Regulation Orders and a full Travel Plan.

 

(2) That an informative be issued to the developer with regard to resolving the land ownership and access issues.
