Exclusion of the Public and the Public Interest Test

To consider whether it is in the public interest to exclude the public during the consideration of Agenda Item 5 – ‘Appeal Against the Termination of an Introductory Tenancy’ which has been marked "not for publication" by virtue of the categories set out in the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).

Minutes:

RESOLVED – That the public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of Agenda Item 5 to prevent disclosure of information relating to an individual.  It would not, on balance, be in the public interest to disclose this information because disclosure of the personal information would be unfair to the appellant and breach their data protection rights.

Minutes:

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager reported that the appellant had withdrawn his appeal.
