A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) detailing recommendations made by the Visiting Team on Monday, 25 July 2016.

 

Councillor Bagnall commented that there was an error in the report of the Visiting Team such that it erroneously referred to Councillor Christine Corris as the Lead Councillor for the Visiting Team rather than himself.

 

RESOLVED – That the report be noted.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) summarising recent appeal decisions, listing current planning appeals and dates for local inquiries and informal hearings according to area committees.

 

The representative of the Deputy Chief Executive reported that there were a number of updates to the report since the publication of the agenda:-

 

·         The appeal against the refusal of planning permission for the erection of one detached dwelling at 9 Rodmill Drive, Gatley had been allowed.

·         The appeal against the erection of a single storey dwelling on land to the rear of 14 Lyntonvale Avenue, Gatley had been allowed.

·         The enforcement notice in respect of the change of use of land from a car repair garage to a car repair garage and a taxi/ private hire booking office at 2A Birchfield Road, Cheadle Heath had been complied with.

 

RESOLVED – That the report be noted.
