Councillor Porgess left the meeting during the consideration of this item and took no part in the discussion or vote.

The Democratic Services Manager submitted two reports (copies of which had been circulated) detailing recommendations made by the Visiting Team on Monday, 12 October 2015, in respect of plan no. 57891 (14 Lynton Vale, Gatley); and on Monday, 22 February 2016 in respect of plan nos. 60361 (Far Bradshaw Farm, Mellor), 60009 (Bredbury Curve, Bredbury) and 60410 (6-12 Whitefield, Heaton Chapel).

 

RESOLVED – That the reports be noted.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report (copies of which had been circulated) summarising recent appeal decisions, listing current planning appeals and dates for local inquiries and informal hearings according to area committees.

 

The representative of the Deputy Chief Executive reported that there were a number of updates to the report since the publication of the agenda:-

 

·         The planning appeal in respect of Werneth Hall Barn, Cowlishaw Brow, Romiley had been dismissed.

·         A claim for costs had not yet been received in respect of the successful planning appeal at Sainsburys Supermarket, London Road Hazel Grove.

·         The enforcement appeal in respect of The Sangam 202 Wilmslow Road, Heald Green had been dismissed.

·         A decision was awaited in respect of the enforcement appeal heard on 18 February 2016 in respect of 1 St Petersgate, Stockport.

·         The enforcement notice in respect of 2 Massie Street, Cheadle had been complied with.

·         The enforcement notice in respect of Cale Green Nursing Home, 47 Adswood Lane West, Stockport had been complied with.

·         The enforcement notice in respect of 24 Devenshire Park Road, Davenport, Stockport had been complied with.
