A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted an application on behalf of the Friends of Reddish South Station requesting funding to support a commemorative event in honour of the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One.

 

RESOLVED – That a grant of £500 (to be divided equally between the Reddish North and South wards) to the Friends of Reddish South Station to support a commemorative event in honour of the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One be approved.

The Area Committee is requested to comment on the proposals detailed in the report prior to consideration by the Cabinet Member.
