Agenda and minutes

To approve as a correct record and sign the Minutes of the meeting held on 20 September 2017.

The Minutes (copies of which had been circulated) of the meeting held on 20 September 2017 were approved as a correct record.

Councillors and officers were invited to declare any interests they had in any of the items on the agenda for the meeting.

No declarations of interest were made.

Representatives of Stockport Action for Voluntary Youth (SAVY) have been invited to attend the meeting to address and answer Councillors questions.

Representatives of Stockport Action for Voluntary Youth attended the meeting and made a presentation to Councillors in respect to a number of issues relation to open space provision and presented a video on a recent motor cross scheme which had been a great success.

RESOLVED – That the report be noted and the representatives of Stockport Action for Voluntary Youth be thanked for their attendance and presentation.

Representatives of Stockport Youth Partnership have been invited to attend the meeting to address and answer Councillors questions.

A representative of the Democratic Services Manager submitted a report on behalf of the Stockport Youth Partnership (copies of which had been circulated) which provided a summary of a discussion held at the last meeting of the Partnership in respect to Open Space Provision for 14-19 year olds.

RESOLVED – That the report be noted and the Democratic Services Manager be requested to incorporate the points and recommendations made in the report in the draft final report.
