To consider a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration

 

The report sets out the results of an investigation into the difficulties caused by parked vehicles on Jones Square, Stockport.

 

The Area Committee is requested to approve the statutory legal advertising of the No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order detailed in the report and, subject to no objections being received within the statutory period, the Order can be made.

A representative of the Deputy Chief Executive submitted a report of the Corporate Director for Place Management and Regeneration (copies of which had been circulated) setting out the results of an investigation into the difficulties caused by parked vehicles on Jones Square, Stockport.

 

RESOLVED – That the Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing be recommended to approve the statutory legal advertising of the following No Waiting At Any Time Traffic Regulation Order at an approximate cost of £375 to be funded from the Area Committee’s Delegated Budget (Manor Ward allocation) with the legal advertising costs to be shared with the costs for the proposed No Waiting At any Traffic Regulation Order on Ward Street, Stockport: and, subject to no objections being received within twenty one days from the advertisement date, the Order be made:-

Jones Square - north east side, from a point 15 metres south east of the southerly kerbline of Hempshaw Lane for a distance of 21 metres in a south easterly direction.

 

Proposed Traffic Regulation Order – No Waiting At Any Time

 

Jones Square - north east side, from the southerly kerbline of Hempshaw Lane for a distance of 15 metres in a south easterly direction.
