Decision:
The Executive Councillor (Governance & Corporate Services) has approved the appropriation of the land at the former Peacefield Primary School site from the CYP asset allocation to the Housing Revenue Account and has authorised the Corporate Director for Corporate and Support to finalise the details.
The Executive Meeting in March 2010 had previously agreed to dispose of this site to Stockport Homes for the minimum value of £0.250m for the purpose of providing affordable homes. Due to changes to the Homes & Communities Agency funding regime it is no longer necessary for this land to be acquired by Stockport Homes to deliver the scheme and will now be achieved via the Council’s HRA with Stockport Homes acting as managing agent.
