The Cabinet Member for Communities and Housing has approved proposals to removal and decommission of the fixed camera housing at Buxton Road between Yew Tree Avenue and Norbury Hollow due to the opening of the new section of A6 Manchester Airport Relief Roadand to replace and upgrade the camera sited at A34 near Lynton Road.
The £8000 cost of the proposals is to be funded equally between the TfGM Camera Partnership and the Council’s road safety budget.
