The Deputy Chief Executive has approved the awarding of a contract to Dodd Group Limited for electrical rewiring works at Banks Lane Infant School.
Estates and Asset Management undertake planned reviews of the
condition of the Council’s estates and assets. As part of
this process, a need has been identified for rewiring works within
a number of schools.
For this project, the Council engaged with STaR Procurement to establish the most effective way to appoint a consultant. A competitive tender was adopted, using the ABC Framework with further competition. This process included assessment based on Quality, Cost and Social Value Benefit.
Two contractors responded to the tender. Following scoring Dodd Group Limited were identified as the preferred contractor.
