Purpose:
Annually the Council sets it's fees for
residential, nursing and home care services. This is done to
consider both inflationary and other relevant cost pressures within
the care sector. This report outlines the cost of care process and
provides recommendation for the appropriate financial uplifts to be
approved.
Decision:
The Cabinet considered the 2019/20 fee setting recommendations for the most significant areas of externally commissioned services within Adult Social Care and approved the fee setting approach, including fee uplifts as set out in the report.
