The Area Committee considered and approved an application from Hazel Grove Carnival Association for the use of Torkington Park on between 6-7 July 2018 for the annual carnival be approved, subject to the all required paperwork and licenses being obtained by the organisations and submitted to the Council at least one week prior to the event taking place.
