Decision details

The Executive considered the draft Annual Pay Policy Statement that had been produced in accordance with the requirements of Section 38 of the Localism Act 2011 and recommended to the Council Meeting that it:-

•           approve the Annual Pay Policy Statement for 2016/17;

•           agree to an increase in the Living Wage rate paid by the Council, in line with current policy, to £8.25 per hour, with effect from 1 April 2016;

•           reconvene the Living wage Working Group in order to explore the implications of the National Living Wage on both the workforce and the Council’s supply chain.
